Eastbourne offers disabled sports through a number of national organisations.  Look at the Disabled Sports page for contact details.

The town’s promenade is a great place for disabled people and wheelchair users to enjoy, taking in Holywell, the Pier, Bandstand and Wish Tower. During the summer an accessible Dotto train runs the length of the Promenade as far as Sovereign Harbour.

A bathing hut for disabled people and wooden pathway to high water mark are located at the Lifeguard Station and there are accessible toilets at Holywell, the Bandstand, the Pier, Redoubt Bowls Pavilion, Fisherman’s Green and Langney Point.

Eastbourne’s parks offer opportunities such as Blind Bowls at Gildredge Park and wheelchair paths through the wooded section and round the lake at Hampden Park.

The Eastbourne Access Guide has details of venues and locations around Eastbourne and includes maps showing wheelchair accessible routes across the town.   Eastbourne Access Guide
