Stay independent

Welbeing is a leading national provider of lifeline services, based in Eastbourne. Our personal alarm services, also widely known as Lifeline, provide peace of mind for people who want to feel more secure in their own homes by coupling high-tech equipment and technology with caring services.

Lifeline is a quick and simple way of getting help should you have an accident or emergency in your home. You may be unable to get to the phone, for instance, after a fall, or because of an intruder. We provide a 24-hour, 365-day monitoring service giving you the freedom to live your life independently knowing that you can obtain assistance when you need it.

If you are concerned about falls there are sensors alongside the alarm unit and pendent that can help you:

Falls detector: will trigger an alarm if they detect a jolt and sense the person is not in a standing position. Older people are often unable to get up off the floor without help and may end up lying on the floor until help arrives. The falls detector automatically alerts our contact centre who can help you.

Bed sensors can detect if you do not return to your bed in the night because of a fall or accident. Automatic lights can come on in the dark so you can see your way to the bathroom without risking falling and movement sensors can detect lack of activity e.g. a fall. All of these raise an alert at our contact centre in Eastbourne.
